Virtual Open House
Come join the Institute for the Advancement of Psychotherapy’s Open House on Thursday, September 18th from 12-1pm PDT. IAP is a group practice of 31 clinicians providing evidence based treatment for children, adolescents, couples, and adults in San Francisco, Marin, East Bay, Peninsula, and South Bay locations. We are also hiring for 100% remote positions if you are licensed in the state of California. Our clinicians see clients in our office or theirs, or virtually via Telehealth.
IAP provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Structural-Strategic Family Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) through our six speciality centers: Center for Children, Center for Adolescents, Center for Couples, Center for Anxiety, Center for ADHD, and our Oppositional and Conduct Disorder Clinic.
In addition to our services to clients, we also offer workshops, consultation groups, and one way mirror trainings for licensed and student clinicians (all trainings are currently taking place remotely over Zoom with the possibility of in person or hybrid options in the future). Additionally, IAP is currently hiring licensed clinicians and IAP’s nonprofit associate, Bay Area Community Counseling is hiring MFT & CSW associates and PhD/PsyD postdocs, and taking on non-clinical (undergrad and recent undergrads) volunteers.
